Terms and conditions

These terms and conditions govern the relationship between you and Thabet Platform when you use the website and register for programs.

1) About the platform

Thabet Platform (“the Platform”, “we”) is an online Islamic education platform offering educational programs for children and teens aged 5 to 16, held remotely.

By using this website or registering for any of our programs, you confirm that you have read and agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the website or register for the programs.

2) Registering for programs

Registration is open to the parent or legal guardian, or someone legally acting for them, who is responsible for the accuracy of the details entered (student's name, age, email address and contact method).

A place is reserved once payment is completed successfully. Places are limited in each cohort and are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

Each program has a specific age range, and we reserve the right to move a student to the group best suited to their age or level, in coordination with the parent.

3) Fees and payment

All prices are shown in US dollars (USD) and cover the full program fee unless stated otherwise.

Payment is made through a secure online payment gateway. Credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard and others) and PayPal are accepted.

Some programs offer monthly payment plans. If you choose a payment plan, you agree to pay all instalments on time, and we may suspend access to the program if payments are missed.

Discount codes are applied at checkout, and more than one code cannot be combined in a single order unless explicitly stated.

4) Refund policy

You may request a refund of the fees within 7 days of the payment date.

Requests are made by email to info@thabetplatform.com or via WhatsApp, stating the student's name, the program and the payment date.

Bank transfer fees or payment gateway fees may be deducted from the refunded amount, and refunds are returned by the same method used for payment, within a period that depends on the payment provider and the bank.

After the seven days have passed, fees are not refundable, unless we cancel the program.

5) Sessions and attendance

Sessions are held live online (Google Meet), and you receive the attendance link and your group's schedule before the program starts.

A recording of every session is available to subscribers, so the student can catch up if they can't attend live.

The parent is responsible for providing a suitable internet connection and device. We are not responsible for missed attendance due to technical issues on the user's side.

We reserve the right to change group times, merge groups or change the teacher when necessary, with advance notice to parents.

6) Student conduct and the learning environment

We are committed to a safe and respectful learning environment. Students are expected to behave respectfully toward their teachers and classmates.

We may end a student's subscription without a refund in the case of repeated abusive behaviour or behaviour that disrupts the sessions.

7) Intellectual property

All learning materials — presentations, activity booklets, recordings, and written and visual content — are owned by Thabet Platform and protected by intellectual property rights.

The subscriber is granted a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the content solely to teach the registered student.

Recording the sessions, or republishing, sharing, selling or commercially using the content in any way, is strictly prohibited.

8) Limitation of liability

We do our best to provide accurate and useful learning content from trusted Islamic sources; however, the programs are general educational programs and do not replace specialized advice on individual matters.

We are not responsible for any indirect damages resulting from use of the website or service interruptions for reasons beyond our control.

9) Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time; the version published on this page applies from its publication date. Please review them periodically.

10) Governing law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws in force in the Province of Ontario, Canada.
